When you create an account on DailyStandardGlobal.com or in the DDS app, we save your email address, username, and password. We use your email address to send you notifications, such as when there is a new response to a forum post you're following. When you accept our terms, this means that we upload your data from the app to our website, DailyStandardGlobal.com. We do not share your email address with third parties, and we do not use the address for advertising emails, unless you have explicitly signed up for one of our newsletters. The same account is used for both the DailyStandardGloba.com website and the DDS app. So if you create an account in the app, you can use this account to log in on the website.
Users have the option to create a brief profile. The purpose of such a profile is to enhance interaction with other users and the data is not used for other purposes (such as marketing).
The minimum age for creating a new account on DailyStandardGlobal.com is 16 years for Dutch users and 13 years for users from Belgium. If you are younger than the applicable age requirement, you need to obtain permission from your parents/guardians before creating an account.
In the DDS app, we use advertisements (ads).
